Trefoil Guild News
We are now looking forward to the National AGM in Bath when a coach is travelling on the Friday and returning on Monday to enjoy what I am certain will be a wonderful weekend. Then two weeks later we travel to Dorchester for our SW Region AGM that I am sure will also be another memorable day.
Sadly our Region Chairwoman, Sylvia Warne completes her appointment on that weekend. We are so grateful to Sylvia for all the time she has given in the past four years and hope that Michael and Sylvia will be able to enjoy a well-earned rest.
Please remember our International Garden Party at Netley on 30 June – Chairmen have the details. Hope to see you all there.

The Hampshire West Lone Trefoil Guild gathered for a coach trip to meet the Devon Lones in Poundbury on 11 May. A delightful coach journey with a coffee stop in Ferndown led us to Poundbury. The coach sought desperately for parking and the town centre and we were eventually deposited at the Poet Laureate pub for lunch. We had a really good lunch with great food and enjoyable conversation with the ladies from Devon. We tried, in pleasant weather, to find the village heart. We found a few shops but it all felt so empty and artificial. We did see a notice for a Brownie unit though so there may be hope.
Thanks to Sheila Leach for organising the coach and lunch. I will look forward to meeting the Devon Lone Guild again somewhere else.

Girlguiding Hampshire East's County Commissioner advised that the hall had already been booked for next year's luch, which will be held in Stubbington on 18 May 2006
