Margaret Williams Challenge Day

Margaret Williams Challenge Day - A challenge for all Hampshire West Brownies

Come and travel Through the Year…all in one day!

The theme for this year will be Through the Year and the Brownies will get the opportunity to participate in physical activities, crafts and mental challenges from a range of events, festivals and celebrations. This could be anything from making Divali lanterns to being a Chinese New Year dragon, from making gift boxes for Purim to outwitting the Easter bunny.

The aim of the day is to give all the Brownies in the County an opportunity to mix together and enjoy themselves. This event will be run in a similar manner to last year, with the girls moving around the various activities in small teams, collecting points along the way.

All Brownie Travellers are to be at Foxlease, Lyndhurst (SO43 7DE) on Saturday 19 May 2007 by 9.45 am and we will finish at 4.00 pm. Please try to car share if possible as parking is limited and there will be over 350 Brownies attending. The cost is £5 per Brownie. Please make sure everything is named, as there will be a lot of girls at this event.

Please come in Brownie uniform and bring the following with you:

• Coat and wellies if necessary (named)
• Packed lunch with a drink and sitter ask your Guider if you are not sure what this is)
• Pencil case per team including – a pen, pencil, colouring pens/pencils & scissors per girl
