Outdoor Qualification Registration

OUTDOOR QUALIFICATION REGISTRATION

You need to register your details when you start to work towards an Outdoor Qualification - see list below. You need to allow at least 6 months to complete the qualifications (longer for some of the more specialist ones).

As of January 2006 a fee will be payable with registration to help cover the costs of administration and mentors expenses for visits to camps etc. The fees will be:

 £10 for any camp/holiday scheme qualification
 £5 for a senior section permit and all other outdoor qualifications

Cheques should be made payable to “The Guide Association” and enclosed with the registration form.

Once registered you will be invited to a mentor/mentee workshop to meet with a mentor on a one to one basis who will guide you through what you need to gain your qualification. For information the new workshop dates are 18 September, 28 November, 24 January 2007, 15 March 2007, 11 May 2007 and 25June 2007.
