First impressions are very important and we want to ensure that all our new volunteers get the best introduction to Girlguiding as possible, regardless of the area they are from or the role they are volunteering for.
The following is designed to give a consistent and positive message. Please feel free to adapt the documents to your own needs.
The Warm Welcome has 3 stages:
Stage 1 - Welcoming for all new Volunteers
This can done via a welcoming email and this can consists of the following:

We are the leading charity for girls and young women in the UK and I attach a leaflet produced by Girlguiding which gives an outline of what we do.
Before you commit to a volunteer role within Girlguiding, I would like to meet with you in order to tell you more about our organisation and the opportunities available for adult volunteers.
Please let me know a day and time that suits you best.
